Come visit TWO Productive permaculture farms in tzununa, guatemala!

Every Monay at 10:00 a.m., we offer a farm tour by donation. We begin at Granja Tz’ikin, a partner Permaculture farm just down the road from Atitlan Organics, and check out their operation. Then we move up to our place to show you guys what we do here. We are free to show visitors around, answer questions, trade seeds, and all kinds of other stuff. Please let us know in advance if you will be joining us. There is always a farm fresh lunch available at the Bambu Guest House afterwards, as well as the possibility of a visit to the nearby waterfalls. Makes a great morning out in nature!

How to get Here

Coming from Antigua or Guatemala City, you must travel to Panajachel, which is one of the three big towns on the lake and takes about 3 hours by shuttle. You can take a tourist shuttle here for roughly Q65-80 per person.

From Panajachel, you take a boat (lancha) at the public dock. Tell the captain that you are going to the town of Tzununa (zoo-new-nah) which is three public stops from Panajachel. This costs roughly Q15-20 per person.

Get off at the public dock in Tzununa and take a tuk tuk (little three wheeled car), tell them you want to go to Granja Tz’ikin (“tzee-keen”). The cost will be Q10 per person. Looking forward to meeting you!
